Installing artificial grass or turf directly over soil will result in an unattractive and uneven turf installation. As turf professionals, we recommend installing turf only after proper ground work and preparations have been made. What types of infill are used with synthetic or artificial turf products?
Depends on the company but most common infills used on turf are Silica Sand,
Rubber Infill, Durafill and Envirofill. Here at Havasu Turf Pros, we recommend using silica sand infill.
How do you secure the edges of artificial grass during installation?
We recommend using Steel U-Pins (staples) of at least 5 inches or longer.
Can dogs pee on artificial grass?

No, fleas are unable to nest, feed or reproduce in synthetic turf products. They need organic materials to survive. By replacing your natural grass lawns with synthetic turf, you will not have to treat your turf for fleas.
